**Software Development Opportunity**

We are seeking a skilled software engineer with experience in Python development to contribute to the creation of innovative test automation tools and Linux-based embedded hardware.

This role presents an exciting chance to drive industry progress by enabling new testing capabilities, enhancing certification processes, and improving test coverage.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining open-source certification tools, collaborating on hardware solution creation, and automating existing processes.

  • Maintain and enhance our Python-based test automation tools, such as Checkbox, used by both internal teams and industry partners.
  • Explore novel methods for remote automated testing.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of software counterparts for in-house testing hardware, facilitating device enablement (graphics, hotplug, bluetooth, etc).
  • Develop functional and performance tests to support hardware enablement and prevent regressions.
  • PARTICIPATE IN MEETINGS INVOLVING INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL 2-3 TIMES PER YEAR.
