Senior Python Developer

Profusion is delighted to be working with a well-renowned, market-leading finance client who is looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer/Investment Data Engineer with excellent Python, Databricks, DBT, SQL, and Investments / Wealth / Super experience.
Role Overview
This role involves working as a highly quantitative, data-focused individual with demonstrated Python programming experience. You will collaborate within a team of high-performing, analytical developers and investment data experts.
The ideal candidate will be analytical, curious, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess an analytical mindset. They should be a natural collaborator, an excellent communicator, open to feedback, and eager to work alongside other investment data specialists.
Experience and Skills
- Extensive experience developing solutions in Python with a thorough understanding of common libraries
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience with Databricks / DBT
- Agile methodology experience
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Solid experience in Finance, Banking, Investments, Wealth, Superannuation, or Trade Floor
