We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Financial Analyst to join our team at the REO Group, located in Western Sydney. This is an outstanding opportunity to further develop your skills and experience as a Finance Business Partner.

**About the Role**

The successful candidate will work closely with the FP&A manager to establish piercing and insightful management reporting for business leaders. You will play a key role in the budgeting and forecasting process and take a lead role in major business projects.

This is a 50/50 split role, where you will be involved in supporting month-end reporting, commercial tenders, and KPI reporting. You will also have the opportunity to influence change and effectively business partner with the wider team to drive insights, streamline and optimise reporting, and drive efficiency.

**Responsibilities**

  • Prepare month-end analysis and reporting on financial performance and key performance drivers of the business, including investigation and follow-up of material variances.
  • Establish sound relationships with business contacts for the cooperative monitoring of performance and the implementation of change.
  • Preparation of Budget & Forecasts. Construct robust data-based forecasts that reflect business objectives, drawing attention to trend analysis, and underlying assumptions coupled with revenue, cost, and capital insights.
  • Generate presentations and reporting packages involving revenue and expense for budget, forecast, and actuals.
  • Improve and automate existing reporting and introduce new reporting where necessary.
  • Assist with BI tool implementation.
  • Take a lead role in process improvement and systems enhancement initiatives.
  • Prepare commercial & domestic tender pricing models.
  • Prepare periodic pricing adjustments required for commercial and domestic customers.
  • Prepare and report on any ad hoc analysis identified by business.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • An Accounting degree and completed CA or CPA.
  • A strong understanding of a large P&L ideally coming out of a heavy operational organisation.
  • Flexibility in working through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for continuous improvement.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
