About the Service

LikeMind is a pioneering mental health service funded by the Ministry of Health, offering a one-stop hub and support for individuals aged 18 to 65 years who are experiencing or have experienced mental health issues. Our service is designed to provide a comprehensive and integrated approach to mental health care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide brief and ongoing interventions and develop collaborative individual care plans for individuals aged 18-65 years.
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively with other clinicians to develop services for individuals with mental health issues and their families.
  • Deliver evidence-based, best practice interventions, comprehensive assessments, and care planning.
  • Participate in clinical review and quality assurance processes.
  • Attend business and professional development meetings, contributing to the development and maintenance of community partnerships with key external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • General AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist (with mental health accreditation), AASW Accredited Mental Health Social Worker registration, or Social Worker with eligibility to apply to the AASW.
  • Knowledge and experience in the provision of clinical mental health assessment and evidence-based interventions.
  • Proven judgment and evaluation skills demonstrating a working understanding of assessment and care planning.
  • Sound understanding of the public, non-government, and private mental health systems and associated non-mental health programs in a community setting.
  • Demonstrated computer skills and ability to maintain clinical records.
  • Proven understanding of duty of care, rights to privacy, and confidentiality.
  • Positive, solution-focused attitude with commitment to participate in service improvement activities and personal clinical growth.
  • Well-developed written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCC.
  • Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance.
