We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team.

The successful candidate will be working with our Drug and Alcohol service, providing support to consumers with varied substance use issues. They will be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes counsellors, nurses, social workers, and medical staff.

The role involves working in a community outpatient setting, offering consumers access to the Opioid Treatment Program (OTP), counselling services, and specialist medical services. The service provides comprehensive care to individuals struggling with substance abuse.

To succeed in this position, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a non-judgmental approach, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. You will work closely with the team to develop effective treatment plans and provide ongoing support to clients.

About the Role

  • This is a full-time position
  • You will work three days a week, Tuesday-Thursday
  • No prior experience in Drug and Alcohol required as training will be provided

Requirements

  • Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification
  • Current registration with the relevant nursing authority
