Electrical and Instrumentation Professional
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our project delivery team, supporting maintenance operations on the APLNG facility.
The ideal candidate will bring previous experience from an Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical or continuous processing plant, with exposure to working in tanks, confined spaces and piping highly regarded.
About the Role
- To deliver Electrical and Instrumentation scope under contract
- Execute planned and unplanned breakdown maintenance
- Maintain and replace electrical equipment
- Provide technical advice and support on electrical and instrumentation to field project and maintenance teams
- Troubleshoot, calibrate, repair and service fixed plant instrumentation and electrical assets
- Identify risks and maintain awareness amongst employees and process conditions in a Major Hazardous Facility
- Develop and drive continuous improvement and cost-effective solutions
- Work at heights activities
- Be flexible and adaptable to changing business needs
- Identify and implement improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Hold an Electrical License (QLD)
- Have a Cert III in Instrumentation
- Current CPR/LVR certification
- EEHA Certification
- HV Switching Certification
- Swagelok Certification
- High Risk Work License – EWP
- Work at Heights Certification
- Driver's Licence
