Clinical Nurse - Quality and Risk/Infection Control
Seeking a skilled nurse to support our quality and risk/infection control programs.
Responsibilities include monitoring procedures, practices, and standards, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, participating in committees, and collecting data on key performance indicators (KPIs) and infection control clinical indicators.
A sound knowledge of National Quality Safety Healthcare Standards (NSQHS) and ACHS Accreditation System is essential, along with experience in supporting clinical teams to meet required standards.
This role will conduct clinical audits, monitoring, and surveillance as required, providing direct patient care, guidance, and support to less experienced members of the nursing team.
Education and training will be provided on relevant topics, and candidates should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A high standard of clinical and customer-focused care is expected, as well as strong time management and prioritization skills.
Desirable criteria include an immunisation certificate or working towards it, and auditing skills.
