About the Role
  • You will be responsible for installing and operating rigging equipment such as chain blocks, slings, pulleys, and winches to lift, move, or position heavy objects like machinery, spools, structural steel, and other equipment.
  • You will assess the objects to be moved, estimate their size, shape, and weight, and determine the type of rigging equipment necessary to lift them safely.
  • You will inspect and maintain rigging equipment to ensure it's in good working condition.
  • You will read, interpret, and follow lift plans and procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations.
What You'll Need
  • A High Risk Work License (RB/RI/RA)
  • Working at Heights certification
  • A Construction White/Blue Card
  • A Current Australian 'C' Class Driver's Licence
  • A Current Australian 'MR/HR' Class Driver's Licence (desired)
  • A High Risk Work Licence - Forklift (desired)
