In this role, you will have the chance to gain experience working on various equipment brands, including XCMG, Komatsu, CAT, Fuso, Hino, Isuzu, Hitachi, Liebherr, and A/C systems.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the crew to meet daily safety, equipment reliability, and maintenance compliance targets
- Disassembling, inspecting, and assembling large-scale mobile mining equipment components according to OEM specifications
- Sourcing technical information from reference manuals, technical bulletins, and computer systems
- Completing mechanical diagnoses, repairs, and services for breakdowns and field service
- Carrying out major repairs and component rebuilds
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanical
- Competence in performing routine maintenance on machines
- A driver's license (HR preferred)
- Komatsu and Cat experience (desirable but not essential)
- The ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Physical fitness and the ability to pass a medical examination, including a drug and alcohol test
