Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining cloud infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing cloud resources to ensure maximum uptime and performance.

The successful candidate will work closely with other operations staff, engineering, and client services to ensure cloud services are available 24x7. They will also be responsible for managing and configuring cloud resources, setting up automatic scaling, load balancing, and disaster recovery strategies, and performing system updates and patches.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about cloud computing and has strong technical skills. The right candidate will have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage workload.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficient with automation using PowerShell/Bash scripting.
  • A demonstrated deep knowledge of supporting and managing AWS Cloud environments, using primarily AWS native tools.
  • AWS CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, and GitLab.
  • EC2 (Linux and Windows), Load balancers, Auto Scaling groups, and RDS.
  • S3, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, CloudWatch Logs, Events & alarms, and AWS Athena queries.
  • Security Hub, GuardDuty, Firewall Manager, Config, and IAM analyzer.
  • Managed NAT, ECS Fargate, Internet Gateway, and Route 53.
  • AWS Backup, Systems Manager, EFS (SMB-based), Lambda, and Kinesis Data Firehose.
