Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Venue Leader to lead our venues in Newcastle, Australia.
This is a career-defining role with opportunities for growth and professional development.
The successful applicant will have a minimum of 2 years of management experience in a busy hotel or food-oriented venue, with a strong background in gaming and TAB operations.
You will be responsible for leading your team during busy service periods, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards across all aspects of venue operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of staff members during busy service periods
- Ensure exceptional customer service at all times
- Maintain high standards across all aspects of venue operations
- Foster a positive and proactive working environment
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of management experience in a busy hotel or food-oriented venue
- Strong knowledge in all aspects of running a busy hotel, particularly from a gaming/wagering & F&B perspective
- Extensive knowledge in a busy food orientated venue
- Extensive background in a strong gaming orientated venue with proven results to show same
- Current RSA & RCG certificates
- A hands-on approach to management
- A friendly, self-motivated personality with excellent people skills
- A passion for the hospitality industry
Desirable Attributes:

- Demonstrated understanding of industry-related technology systems
- Understanding of the Newcastle & Hunter region clientele and business drivers
- Strong reporting and analysis skills
