Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Draftsperson to join our team at Burbank. As a key member of our drafting team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality drawings and documentation for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce compliant drawings and documentation for construction projects, including sales kits, town planning documentation, site plans, working drawings, and construction details.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure drawings reflect the design brief and are compliant with relevant design and siting controls.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including developers, sales agents, designers, planning consultants, energy raters, engineers, and suppliers.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality control processes to ensure the accuracy of completed drawings.
  • Ensure all drawings produced comply with relevant regulatory controls, including building code, developer guidelines, town planning permit conditions, covenants, and restrictions on title.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years' experience in domestic medium-density construction drafting, AUTOCAD, ARCHICAD, BCA, and planning.
  • Proven knowledge of domestic construction methods.
  • Tertiary qualified in a building or engineering field.
  • Able to build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to understand and interpret technical aspects of design and construction.
