About the Position

As a Senior Pega Solutions Architect, your primary objective will be to spearhead the design and execution of Pega decisioning solutions that facilitate customer experience transformation. You will leverage Agile methodologies to craft and deliver both business and technical solutions for various initiatives within our transformation program. Your ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt swiftly will be essential.

What Your Day Will Entail

  • Architect, develop, and implement a comprehensive customer data model by integrating data from diverse systems through both batch and real-time ingestion methods.
  • Create and enhance components to scale the Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH) application across multiple channels, ensuring value delivery to our customers.
  • Collaborate closely with Solution Architects and Lead System Architects to iteratively refine and implement the design.
  • Monitor and optimize application performance for scalability.
  • Uphold Pega systems design principles and development standards, promoting best practices in architecture, design, and coding.
  • Ensure that application design, implementation, and delivery align with ANZ's standards, controls, and best practices.

  • Proven experience in leading the design, development, testing, and deployment of applications.
  • Strong understanding of data models, integrations, and features related to Pega decisioning.
  • Essential experience in designing and managing Pega Decisioning applications.
  • Familiarity with Cloud, data, and integration platforms is advantageous.
  • Experience in designing and implementing synchronous and asynchronous integrations using REST/JMS/MQ.
  • Demonstrated ability to advocate for Pega best practices and ensure compliance with guardrails.
  • Competence in identifying risks and issues while proposing effective solutions.
  • Manage development, testing, and production environments, collaborating with Business Analysts to document user stories and ensure thorough peer review processes.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in executing mid to large-scale projects.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
  • A growth mindset and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently with senior stakeholders.
  • Capacity to tackle complex problems autonomously.
  • Pega Certified Senior System Architect (PCSSA) certification.
