Part-time Coordinator
Job Description:
This part-time Coordinator role involves working with a diverse range of participants to support them in developing new skills and gaining nationally recognised qualifications. The core focus of the project is to empower participants to achieve sustainable employment by providing personalized support and guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting participants with complex personal and social issues
- Developing individual training and personal development support plans to enhance opportunities for completion and employment
- Facilitating provision of personal development activities as determined by individual plans
- Liaising with partner RTOs and local employers to maximize employment and training outcomes
- Undertaking and maintaining accurate documentation including case notes, report writing, and program data collection
Requirements:
Applicants must hold a Certificate IV or equivalent experience within Community Services, Employment Services, Training, or a similar sector.
They should also possess an understanding of the labour market and the issues faced by participants when planning to enter or return to the workforce.
A sense of resilience and empathy is essential for this role, as it requires working with participants experiencing complex barriers.
Strong communication and IT skills are also necessary, including experience recording case notes and using MS Office Outlook, Excel, Word, and TEAMS.
Excellent time management, attention to detail, and prioritization skills are also required.
Additional Requirements:
- Right to Work in Australia
- A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Willingness to undertake a specific 'Fit2Work' Police Check
