Employment Consultant, Disability Employment Services – Join to apply for the Employment Consultant, Disability Employment Services role at APM.
About the RoleAs a Disability Employment Services Employment Consultant at APM, you will support participants (job seekers) to transform their lives. Joining the team serving the Hervey Bay region from our Pialba office, you will work with employers and participants to deliver tailored employment solutions. The role is fast-paced, collaborative, and focused on achieving great outcomes and making a difference.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and secure employment opportunities for participants with local employers
- Support participants to identify skills to become job ready
- Deliver quality service while adhering to all contractual and compliance requirements
- Enhance participants' employability through training and referrals to support services
- Develop personalised job plans for clear employment pathways
- Build and maintain positive relationships with local employers and community groups
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- A current driver's license and a comprehensively insured vehicle
- A MyGovID (Standard level)
- Willing to complete a National Police Check
- Able to pass a Working with Children Check
- Available to work Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm

We find people with backgrounds in sales, retail, call centre, hospitality, consulting, business development, and administration are well suited to this role. We provide full training and will help you turn transferable skills into a career in Employment Services.
