Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality pastoral care services to students, promoting their emotional wellbeing and supporting the broader school community.
  • Collaborate effectively with staff, parents, Learning Support staff, school Counsellor, and the local community to achieve mutual goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to foster a respectful and caring school environment, addressing individual needs and responding to situations appropriately.
  • Monitor and report on progress in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Support and uphold the Catholic mission and identity of the school, ensuring alignment with policies and guidelines.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
  • Current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • Completion of anaphylaxis training.
  • Minimum NSCP qualification requirements (Certificate IV in Youth Work or Pastoral Care or equivalent).
  • Be a committed Catholic willing to support and promote the Catholic Identity and mission of the school.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, families, staff, and the local Parish context.
