About the Position

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Casual Disability Support Workers to join our team. You will be providing support to individuals with mental health challenges associated with drug and alcohol abuse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred support to individuals with mental health challenges related to drug and alcohol abuse.
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks as needed.
  • Transport clients to meetings on weekday evenings and potentially on Saturdays.
  • Work collaboratively with another support worker to ensure client needs are consistently met.
  • Maintain accurate shift notes.
  • Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.

Criteria:

  • Experience working with individuals with mental health challenges and/or drug and alcohol abuse.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Current driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Current NDIS credentials.
  • Availability to work evenings and potentially Saturdays.
