Job Opportunity: Supply Chain Operations Traineeship

This collaborative employment zone offers a unique traineeship in Logistics and Warehousing Operations, allowing you to learn on the job and gain a Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations.

About the Role:

  • Work at a major industrial site with daily hours from 6am-2:30pm.
  • Repair and assemble small equipment, including forklifts and other machinery.
  • Update and maintain company systems and records.
  • Raise purchase orders and change orders for suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials.
  • Approve invoices for payments, maintaining financial accuracy.
  • Order new stock and arrange existing stock for distribution to various project sites.
  • Pick up and deliver ordered stock, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Clean and maintain all areas relating to the yard, including toilets and storage facilities.
  • Stock and restock yard items, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Report and record all outgoing and incoming stock, tracking inventory levels.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Manual Driving Licence (mandatory).
  • Forklift Licence (desirable).
  • Able to pass a Pre-employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Testing.
  • Mechanically inclined individual with problem-solving skills.
  • Initiative and ability to suggest process improvements.
  • Positive communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Safety focused at all times, adhering to industry standards.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and results-driven.
