
Avionics Systems Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced maintenance professional to join our team as an Avionics Systems Maintenance Specialist.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in avionic systems, aircraft maintenance, and technical documentation. They will be responsible for ensuring all work is performed using authorised technical data and compliant with regulatory standards.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections and fault diagnosis on avionic systems and components across fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft.
- Perform maintenance activities, including routine servicing, repairs, and replacements, while adhering to safety protocols and quality control procedures.
- Document maintenance activities, meeting certification and reporting requirements, and provide detailed technical reports as necessary.
- Provide expert advice on engineering matters, defect reporting, and publication amendments, and collaborate with the team to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Identify and report defects, non-conformances, or quality issues to the Team Leader, and implement corrective actions as required.
- Hold an Aircraft Maintenance Trade (Cert IV Aeroskills – Avionics) qualification.
- Australian citizenship with a Defence Clearance is essential.
- Experience working with Defence Military Aircraft is highly desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
