Job Title: Registered Nurse - Aged Care Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Signature Care Operations. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, social, and emotional needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop individualized care plans for residents, taking into account their unique needs and preferences.
- Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Document resident care plans, progress, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated experience in aged care, with a focus on gerontology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong assessment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and other relevant software systems.
