**Job Title:** Senior Test Analyst

Description of the Role

The Payments Settlements department is seeking a skilled Senior Test Analyst (Non-Functional Testing) to join its Core Modernisation program. This critical role involves ensuring the successful non-functional testing of applications being migrated to modernised infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaboration: Work with project stakeholders, developers, and business analysts to understand migration requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Test Planning: Develop, review, and execute non-functional test plans, test cases, and scripts to validate application and infrastructure migration outcomes.
  • Comprehensive Testing: Ensure comprehensive test coverage for migrated applications, identifying and mitigating risks to quality.
  • NFT Test Strategies: Implement NFT Test strategies and plans that address risk and complexity.
  • End-to-End Testing: Conduct end-to-end and regression testing for applications impacted by migration activities.
  • Test Automation: Maintain test automation suites and reporting findings proactively.
  • Test Data Management: Maintain test data and minimise environment conflicts through proactive management.
  • Defect Management: Log, track, and manage defects through to resolution.
  • Reporting: Provide detailed test execution reports, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Support and Training: Support PS Operations and PS Settlements, including training, handover, and support documentation.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in non-functional testing, especially performance testing and failover testing. You should possess expertise in implementing non-functional testing frameworks and tools, such as JMeter, LoadRunner, AppDynamics, and Kibana. Experience in planning, management, support, and testing of non-functional changes to mission-critical systems is essential. Familiarity with the NPP platform and concepts related to payments testing is advantageous.

You should also have advanced experience in payments and settlements systems, services, and operations. Basic understanding of infrastructure modernisation concepts is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills are necessary for articulating test results and issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
