About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Medical Assistant. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the day-to-day operations of our medical centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support, ensuring a positive experience for all patients
  • Manage medical records and maintain confidentiality of patient information
  • Process patient payments and invoices, including Medicare and private health fund claims
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and handling internal emails
  • Support the maintenance of a clean and organized reception area and consulting rooms
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, referring doctors, and other healthcare providers
Requirements
  • Current Police Check and Working with Children clearance
  • Current First Aid/CPR certificate and immunisation record
  • Driving Licence/Photo ID and demonstrated ability to work in a team
  • Experience with medical software, including BEST PRACTICE/MEDICAL DIRECTOR
