Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized professional to fill the role of Supply Chain Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all inventory management activities within the warehouse and distribution centre. This will involve ensuring accurate stock control, efficient inventory flow, and alignment with supply chain and distribution requirements.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and facilitate collaboration to support the day-to-day operational performance of the Central Pharmacy Distribution Centre.
  • Develop a working relationship with and have sound working knowledge of all team activities within the Distribution Centre including goods receipting, pick and pack, and transport.
  • Assist in directing, controlling and coordinating all elements of Central Pharmacy operations and ensure that key performance targets are met consistently.
  • Ensure full compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), Traffic Management and all related Workplace Health and Safety legislation to ensure Central Pharmacy operates with zero harm to staff.
  • Oversee the effective day-to-day activities regarding inventory control within Central Pharmacy, directing, controlling and coordinating all elements of inventory management operations.
About You
  • You must have knowledge of or the ability to acquire knowledge of practices relevant to the warehousing, inventory controls and distribution functions.
  • You should be able to acquire the knowledge and skills to operate motor vehicles and materials handling equipment.
  • You must be able to work as part of a team and adapt to changing work environments.
  • You should be able to communicate and liaise effectively with clients and staff.
Requirements:
  • A strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to lift 25kg and work at heights.
