Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Venues Technician to join our team. This role involves working collaboratively with touring parties, local creatives, designers, and technicians to deliver high-quality events and productions in our premier venues.

The successful candidate will have experience in coordinating, managing, and executing technical and production services for in-house productions, venue hirers, and clients.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating all technical aspects related to staging, rigging, and associated theatrical and concert equipment across all areas.
  • Maintaining the Business Unit's technical equipment and assets by carrying out repairs and maintenance as needed.
  • Participating in the bump-in and bump-out of productions and events.
Requirements:
  • A diploma or equivalent qualifications in Technical and Production Management of events and/or performing arts or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's licence.
  • A first aid certificate.
  • A WH&S Construction Induction Card.
  • National Certificate of Competency Licences (LF - Forklift truck, EWP – Boom type elevated work platform, Working at Heights certificate, DG – Dogging, RB – Basic Rigging, RI – Intermediate Rigging, Electrical testing and tagging certificate).
  • A Working With Children Check (WWCCC).
