Senior Technical Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Technical Coordinator to join our team. This role will provide leadership and expertise in the technical aspects of event production, including stage lighting, audio, video equipment, and stage machinery.

  • This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for coordinating, managing, and executing technical services for in-house productions, venue hirers, and clients.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong background in technical management and production, with experience in stage lighting, audio, and video equipment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with designers, technicians, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • National Certificate of Competency Licenses, such as LF - Forklift truck, EWP – Boom type elevated work platform, Working at Heights certificate, DG – Dogging, RB – Basic Rigging, RI – Intermediate Rigging, Electrical testing and tagging certificate.
  • Diploma or equivalent qualifications in Technical and Production Management of events and/or performing arts.
