About The Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate individual to join our team as a Support Worker. This role offers daily challenges and the chance to truly impact the lives of people living with disabilities. As a Support Worker in our Accommodation Services, you will provide essential assistance to our high-needs clients, aiding with personal care and daily tasks.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized support to clients with complex needs, promoting autonomy and independence.
  • Assist with daily tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Prioritize tasks and demonstrate problem-solving skills to address client needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure seamless service delivery.

About You:

  • You have experience working with individuals with disabilities and possess a Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or equivalent.
  • You are confident in engaging with clients effectively, building positive relationships, and supporting their unique needs.
  • You are resilient and self-assured, able to work with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • You are skilled in prioritizing tasks and demonstrating problem-solving abilities.
