Key Responsibilities
  • Ambitious Radiographers with 3+ years of General and CT experience can thrive in this role, efficiently managing a diverse caseload in a fast-paced setting.
  • A collaborative mindset is essential for success in this position, as you will work closely with both medical and non-medical staff.
  • The ability to identify workflow issues and ensure timely examinations by escalating challenges to senior staff members is crucial.
  • Staff should be able to identify and report equipment and quality issues promptly.
  • Mentor junior staff, provide training to intermediate users, and oversee students on clinical placements.
  • Ensure compliance with protocols, optimise productivity, and allocate resources effectively in response to changing departmental needs.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development in radiography, sharing knowledge with the department to enhance collective performance.
  • Troubleshoot IT systems, equipment, and PACS to maintain seamless operations.
Requirements
  • A degree in Diagnostic Radiography, accompanied by AHPRA registration and a NSW EPA Radiation Use License, is required for this position.
