The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the packing processes, achieving quality and efficiency targets, managing staffing levels, and overseeing all aspects of running a produce packing facility. This includes leading a team focused on achieving maximum productivity, high quality standards, and safety, cost, and productivity targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the packing processes to ensure efficient and effective production
  • Develop and implement process and facility improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and profitability
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to achieve quality and efficiency targets
  • Manage staffing levels and ensure adequate coverage across all shifts
  • Oversee all aspects of site operations, including safety, quality, and cost management
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing a produce packing facility or similar
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement process and facility improvements
  • Sound knowledge of OH&S and financial management
  • Strong customer focus and ability to develop and maintain customer relationships

Salary Range: $70,000 to $90,000 per annum

Job Type: Full-time
