Job Description

Our Business Growth and Development team coordinates the university's business growth strategy. We provide insights-driven understanding of future students' needs, behaviors, and values to maximize recruitment opportunities.

The Future Student Engagements team is driven by a genuine desire to help students transform their lives through education. We employ sales and marketing strategies to target prospective student cohorts and position the university as a leading institution in Western Australia.

This front-line role will be the face of the university for students considering their next steps in Higher Education. You will engage with them on campus or at events and play a key part in helping them in their journey.

  • Help future students plot their Higher Education journey by advising and assisting them and discussing suitable information about courses, admissions requirements, entry pathways, and student life.
  • Provide assistance to engagement event coordinators (Career Expos, Information Evenings, High School Expos, Open days).
  • Be responsible for lead capture and follow-up through face-to-face engagement and ensuring accurate and timely entry into Salesforce.
  • Provide administrative support, including event registrations, data, and inventory management.
  • Contribute to process renewal initiatives and share relevant knowledge to provide a positive experience for prospective students.

Key criteria include:

  • A genuine desire to help students transform their lives through higher education;
  • Previous experience in customer-focused information services and enquiry support service support and administration tasks;
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others to accomplish joint tasks and shared outcomes;
  • Ability to investigate, identify, and analyze key issues and associated alternatives, benefits, and costs to develop practical solutions;
  • The ability to organize and present information, views, and concepts in a concise, understandable, and interesting format for various audiences;
  • Previous experience in higher education (desirable).
