About the Role

Supporting individuals to maintain their independence in the comfort of their own homes is at the heart of this position.

As a Support Worker - Home Help, you will be responsible for providing domestic assistance to seniors and NDIS customers, enabling them to live life on their own terms.

Based in Joondalup, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working in a dynamic and supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing domestic assistance, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as personal care and mobility
  • Facilitating social connections and community engagement
  • Maintaining confidentiality and upholding professional boundaries

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with seniors and those living with disability (desirable but not essential)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence with no restrictions
  • Reliable and roadworthy motor vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
