Telecommunications Operator

The role requires a professional who can efficiently manage the day-to-day operations of a hospital switchboard and telecommunications services.

Key responsibilities include answering incoming and outgoing calls, delivering assistance in a polite and well-spoken manner at all times, contacting staff and emergency groups for code calls, performing routine clerical duties as required, and operating hospital switchboard systems.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in high-volume call environments is necessary.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Experience with DECT and smart phone systems is highly valued.
