At Pyramid Global Technologies, we are seeking an experienced AWS Migration Specialist to lead our cloud adoption initiatives. As a key member of our AWS delivery team, you will be responsible for migrating, modernizing, and enhancing existing applications, as well as developing new business solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Full cloud adoption delivery responsibility, including due diligence, assessment, migration, and design of modern cloud operating models.
  • Participate in deals due diligence to produce high-level solutions in response to client requirements.
  • Formulate cloud strategies aligned with customer business objectives and focused on cloud migrations and modernization.
  • Nurture cloud computing expertise internally and externally to drive cloud adoption.
  • Take ownership of technology deliverables across AWS migration projects.

Requirements:

  • AWS Certified Solution Architect – Associate (Professional preferred).
  • AWS-based cloud architecture and migration experience.
  • Strong experience and knowledge of AWS services, service models such as IaaS, PaaS, relative risks, and benefits.
  • Strong understanding across AWS Cloud and infrastructure components (server, storage, network, data, and applications) to deliver end-to-end AWS Cloud architectures and designs.
  • Prior application/infrastructure delivery or software development experience on enterprise technologies such as Java, .NET.
  • Experience with solution architecture for cloud/on-premises solutions and deep understanding of technology and related challenges around technology currency, operations, security, performance, minimal downtime migration, and resilience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to take initiative and make things happen.
  • Strong consulting skills, including interacting with and presenting to senior and technical stakeholders to gain buy-in.
  • Strong facilitation skills to ensure realization of architectural vision and operating models.

Desired Experience Range: 10-15 years
