Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operations Supervisor to lead our team in the execution of shipping and distribution of parts throughout the country to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Perform supervisory duties for assigned team members, including conducting performance reviews, overseeing development, documenting attendance, submitting payroll information, and issuing corrective action.
  • Inventory Control: Assist in inventory control procedures, such as cycle counting, for all packaging materials, ingredients, and finished product.
  • Warehouse Procedures: Implement warehouse procedures and service standards consistent with organizational guidelines.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain, refine, and/or suggest improvements within the area to meet customer requirements, including deadlines and quality standards.
  • Performance Evaluation: Develop and implement performance measurements and auditing processes to evaluate operations efficiency and quality.
  • Receiving and Shipping: Ensure the Receiving & shipping of all items delivered to the company are properly checked and accounted for in the ERP system.
  • Packaging and Handling: Ensure all items shipped by the company are properly packaged by team members to prevent damage.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of packaging materials at a level to support the business and prevent work stoppage.
  • Shipping Coordination: Oversee the coordination of all Shipments and/or Deliveries, ensuring the effective use of software to create shipping labels and other documents to schedule pickups.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee parts preparation, material handling, measuring, and packaging equipment.
  • Customer Communication: Maintain contact with personnel from various customers and support areas to ensure accuracy of material/process.
  • Order Fulfillment: Assist the sales and customer service team to ensure all orders are shipped in a timely manner.
  • Forklift Operation: Ensure team members are trained to operate basic and advanced warehouse vehicles (pallet jack, forklift).
  • Procedure Assessment: Assess the cost and performance of current and alternative warehouse procedures and service standards.
