About the PositionThe Family Leadership Clinician will be responsible for implementing and overseeing clinical programs, ensuring timely access to care and effective integration with local health services.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of family-focused interventions, aligning with best practice models and promoting collaborative working relationships.
- Provide clinical supervision and support to staff and students, focusing on complex case management and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Deliver assertive, youth-friendly services, including assessments, brief interventions, and care coordination, prioritizing family-centered approaches.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, promoting effective communication and collaboration across sectors.
- Approved tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing) and full registration with AHPRA or AASW.
- Established expertise in youth mental health, family support, and community health services, with a strong focus on evidence-based interventions.
- Clinical experience in assessment, care planning, crisis intervention, and working collaboratively with families/carers.
- Proven ability to provide clinical leadership and support to staff, students, and lived experience workers within a multidisciplinary team.
