Finance Business Partner Role

We are seeking an accomplished Finance Business Partner to join our organisation. As a pivotal figure in the retail industry, you will provide strategic financial guidance to drive decision-making and business growth during a period of transformation.

This is an opportunity to work with a market leader in their space, collaborating with senior leaders to guide the strategic and commercial direction of the business.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering financial insights to support strategic decision-making and driving business performance.
  • Presenting board reports and findings to senior leaders, ensuring they have accurate information to make informed decisions.
  • Collaborating with department leaders to develop budgets and forecasts, aligning resources with business objectives.
  • Partnering with operations to drive efficiencies and improve processes.
  • Analysing financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports to key stakeholders, keeping them informed about business performance.
  • Driving process improvements across financial planning and analysis functions, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal financial policies and regulations, maintaining high standards of governance.
  • Supporting the implementation of new financial systems or tools as required, staying up-to-date with industry best practices.

A successful Finance Business Partner should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CA/CPA qualification preferred.
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis within the retail industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, building strong relationships with colleagues and external partners.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with experience working with a range of software applications.
  • A focus on achieving results and driving business performance, with a passion for delivering high-quality outcomes.
