We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic diploma educator to fill a casual role in a child care setting.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work in various settings, including long day care centres, and will be required to work flexibly across different locations and hours.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working with children and are looking for a casual role that offers flexibility and variety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) learning outcomes and individual needs and interests of children;
  • Providing high-quality education and care to children aged between six weeks and five years;
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children;
  • Designing and delivering activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development;
  • Collaborating with other educators and support staff to achieve centre goals and objectives;
Requirements:
  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification;
  • Current Working with Children Check;
  • Previous experience working in a long day care centre caring for children between the ages of six weeks and five years;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral;
  • Ability to build effective relationships with staff, children, parents, and other stakeholders;
