About Commonwealth Bank

We're a leading retail banking service provider, delivering seamless experiences to over 10 million customers. Our market-leading products and services are supported by world-class systems and processes.

Our Premier Banking team provides relationship management to high net worth clients within our Customer Service Network (CSN). We have teams across Australia, reporting into various states.

We support clients with sophisticated financial needs, typically with lending and investment balances of $1M or more. Our goal is to assist clients in achieving financial growth while providing superior service to manage their daily finances.

You will manage these relationships through regular contact, follow-up, quality financial health checks, and strong market awareness.

To be successful, you'll:

  • Demonstrate customer service excellence by meeting the bank's standards.
  • Proactively build positive relationships with clients by identifying and anticipating their financial needs through financial health checks.
  • Look for opportunities to provide innovative financial solutions, including lending and investment options, to meet client needs.
  • Drive client acquisition and referrals from existing portfolios, such as the Branch Network and other business partners.
  • Offer suggestions to meet the specific goals and growth of high net worth clients.
  • Solve problems personally, rather than relying on referral channels, maintaining end-to-end service provision.
  • Collaborate actively, referring clients to specialists for financial planning, investment, risk insurance, commercial business, and complex investment needs.
  • Contact clients regularly to maintain effective relationships and assess portfolio growth opportunities.

Requirements include:

  • A minimum 2 years' experience in mortgage/lending products services.
  • Experience in sales roles with diversified product offerings.
  • Passionate customer service managers.
  • Committed relationship-oriented individuals.
  • The capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certificate IV accreditation in lending or similar (preferred).
  • FSRA Tier 2 accreditation, including Deposit Products and General Insurance (preferred).

Your development:

As a Relationship Manager at Commonwealth Bank, you'll have endless opportunities. We invest in our people, providing consistent career pathways, development opportunities, and best-in-market training.

Estimated Salary: AU$80,000 - AU$120,000 per annum (dependent on location and experience). Open to all Greater Sydney applicants.
