About Us

Job Description:

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team at Juniper Bethshan. The successful candidate will provide essential care and support to our residents in a warm and welcoming environment.

The Occupational Therapist will play a vital role in our multidisciplinary team, offering high-quality, resident-focused therapy services. Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, setting personalized goals with residents, and implementing therapy plans that foster independence and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess residents' capabilities and preferences, and set realistic, achievable goals.
  • Implement and facilitate therapy plans to maximize residents' functional capacity.
  • Prescribe aids and equipment as needed.
  • Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Supervise and support therapy assistants.
  • Collaborate with other health professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist and previous experience working in aged care. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with proven ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate quality care.
