Job Opportunity

A Mechanical Engineer with a passion for re-imagining problems and continuous learning is required to join our Water team in Brisbane.

We are changing the way we design and deliver major works to be carbon neutral and sustainable. As a vital part of our growing team, you will work on a range of medium, large, and major projects for the Queensland water market and broader ANZ, focusing on providing feasibility, concept, and detailed designs for government agency clients as well as contractor partners.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting an expanding portfolio of complex water and wastewater projects for municipal and industrial clients
  • Carrying out concept and detailed mechanical engineering design tasks for water-related infrastructure and maintaining positive client relationships
  • Delivering feasibility studies, business cases, and reference designs for treatment plant projects as part of multi-discipline design teams including client personnel
  • Contributing to the preparation of proposals
  • Collaborating with other technical disciplines within the wider project teams as you provide input together to develop client-focused solutions
  • Utilizing your technical engineering capabilities to play a contributing role in the design of projects and providing direction to others while monitoring project progress and overall delivery

We're looking for someone with a tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering, experience supporting large-scale Water & Wastewater projects, and a proven design background. Previous technical experience in areas such as fluid hydraulics, water/wastewater treatment facilities, water/wastewater pumping stations, and pipework design is desirable.
