TP Human Capital is a leading recruitment agency based in Australia, specializing in the placement of skilled professionals in law firms across the country. We are currently seeking an experienced Graduate Lawyer to join our team in Townsville.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual who is looking to develop their skills in a supportive and professional environment. As a Graduate Lawyer, you will provide key support to senior team members in delivering quality legal outcomes for clients.

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis on relevant laws, rulings, and regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Prepare client agreements and necessary legal disclosures, maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times.
  • Contribute to the development and updating of legal resources and templates, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with industry standards.
  • Assist in drafting and preparing legal documents, including disclosures, client updates, correspondence, memoranda, and other client-related materials, paying close attention to detail and grammar.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and third parties to support case development, using strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Participate in networking and professional events, including occasional after-hours functions, to build relationships and stay informed about industry developments.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent qualification, demonstrating a solid understanding of the Australian legal system.
  • Adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research platforms, with experience in document preparation and management.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, meeting deadlines and producing high-quality work.
  • A strong commitment to meeting deadlines and producing quality work, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a close-knit team, collaborating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $65,000 per annum, plus superannuation and other benefits. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and motivated individual to develop their skills and advance their career in a respected law firm.
