Practice Manager Role

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Practice Manager to support a team of medical professionals and contribute to the success of our healthcare organisation.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day practice operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and implementing policies that enhance patient care and streamline workflows.

You will work closely with the clinical team to oversee diary scheduling, manage waitlists, book new clients, and reschedule appointments as needed. Your solution-focused management style and ability to multitask effectively will be essential in this role.

To be successful in this position, you will need a minimum of 1-2 years of leadership experience and exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Experience in managing nursing and administration staff is preferred but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day practice operations
  • Ensure compliance with regulations
  • Implement policies to enhance patient care
  • Oversee diary scheduling and waitlist management
  • Responsible for booking new clients and rescheduling appointments

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of leadership experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in managing nursing and administration staff preferred
  • Proficiency in Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, HICAPS, and Private Health Insurance billings preferred
