Job Title

A Finance Officer plays a key role in supporting internal stakeholders through general accounting duties, while also identifying and implementing process improvements across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to monthly financial accounting processes for revenue and expense recognition.
  • Monthly reconciliation of several general ledger accounts, including bank accounts.
  • Assist with accounts receivable, including customer management, raising invoices, and processing refunds.
  • Assist with accounts payable, including supplier management, supplier onboarding, supplier bank and business details checking.
  • Support audit process.
  • Management of the finance inbox.
  • Regularly review operating processes and procedures for work area and recommend and implement changes to allow for greater productivity.
  • Assist Finance Business Partners as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong Excel skills, including ability to troubleshoot.
  • Ability to effectively manage time, set priorities, and organise work in an effective and efficient manner to achieve set objectives to agreed timelines.
  • Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels both within and outside the organisation to effectively translate ideas, concepts, and information.
  • Demonstrated practical skills in accounting and use of finance systems, including several platforms.
  • High levels of accuracy with a strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated capacity to analyse and solve problems and use judgement and conceptual skills to make sound decisions.
