Back of House Assistant Role

We are seeking a skilled Back of House Assistant to join our team. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the efficient management of stock, maintaining high standards of customer service, and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in inventory management, customer service, and teamwork. You will work closely with the Store Manager and other colleagues to maintain a well-organized and visually appealing store environment, ensuring that all products are accurately priced and presented.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Back of House Manager with handling deliveries, maintaining order and tidiness of the back of house area, and preventing damage and stock loss
  • Assisting sales team members with product queries and customer requests, including collecting requested footwear styles and sizes with a sense of urgency, and delivering them to customers on the shop floor
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service, responding promptly to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Working under the guidance and support of the Store Manager and Back of House Management team to achieve KPIs and targets

Requirements
  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in a retail or warehouse environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and stand for long periods
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
