General Medicine and Geriatric Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Physician/Geriatrician to join our collaborative team in Taree. This role is split between 0.5FTE General Medicine, where you will provide services to inpatients on the admitting general wards, ICU, HDU and Emergency Department patients; and 0.5FTE Geriatric Medicine.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality patient-centred care to individuals requiring general medicine and geriatric services.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and support the unique needs of rural and regional communities.
Contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures that align with organisational goals.
Postgraduate qualification in General Practice or equivalent experience.
Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent.
Advanced skills in clinical leadership and management.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and staff.
