About the Event

Olivia's Walk and Run for Wellness is an annual charity event that raises awareness and vital funds for a wellness program. The event features a 10Km run, 5km run, and walk that takes place around Alexandra Gardens in Melbourne.

Volunteer Opportunities

We are seeking volunteers to assist with various roles, including:

  • Event Setup: Assist in transforming the event area into a welcoming environment.
  • Registration & Check-in: Greet participants, check them in, and provide bibs.
  • Course Marshal: Create a fun, friendly, and safe atmosphere during the event.
  • Merchandise: Support at the merchandise tent and help participants get dressed in theme.
  • Activities: Bring the event to life by assisting with activities at the Kids Zone or Hope Wall.
  • Start Line: Ensure participants are ready to start the event on time.
  • Finish Line: Celebrate participants' achievements, hand out medals, and direct them to post-event activities.

The average volunteer shift duration is 4-6 hours, allowing you to choose your preferred shift time and role after registering.

Required Skills and Qualifications

No prior experience is necessary; however, basic communication skills and a willingness to assist others are essential.
