Project Manager Role

We are seeking a seasoned project manager to lead our road construction and maintenance projects in the Brisbane and greater Queensland area.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in managing and leading projects from a contractor's perspective, including budgeting, programming, monitoring expenditure, controlling resources and reviewing priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing labour, plant, materials and subcontract within budget and time constraints.
  • Undertaking contract management activities, including client liaison and procurement of road making materials and project services.
  • Implementing project management techniques and systems in accordance with company processes.
  • Submitting reports and providing information to management within timeframes.
  • Training and guiding project staff on specifications and construction processes.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification accepted by the Institution of Engineers Australia as a full Member (MIEAust), or alternatives like a Bachelor of Tech / Civil, with work experience considered where applicable.

Prior TMR Pre-Qualification as a PMC01 would be a distinct advantage.

A current driver's licence is required, and the ability to work in a team environment is essential.
