Your Opportunity

As a qualified Occupational Therapist working in a community setting, you will be joining a large and collaborative multidisciplinary team providing personalised treatments.

In this role, you will utilise your Occupational Therapist skills to provide clinical and therapeutic interventions that support positive health and wellbeing outcomes for customers.

You will be supported by clinical treatment pathways that provides optimal rehabilitation and goal achievement for our consumers.

Key Responsibilities
  • The consumers you will be seeing in the community are referred through government-funded models, including Home Care Packages, Short Term Restorative Care, Commonwealth Home Support Programme and Private funding.
  • We set achievable billable KPIs (ask us more).
  • Provide comprehensive assessments and clinical recommendations to support consumer activities of daily living, mobility, and transfers, falls risk and prevention, equipment requirements, pressure area care and skin integrity management, arthritic joint management, and pain management.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to the needs of our organisation and community-based providers to work within the scope of the Occupational Therapy profession.

Requirements

To join our inspiring team, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Australian working rights
  • Willingness to obtain NDIS workers screening and National Police Check
