Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the Compliance Manager in identifying and addressing external regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Assist the business in ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory obligations.
  • Monitor the regulatory landscape and assess trends to inform business decisions.
  • Manage the Australian Sanctions Program, including sanctions checks and liaison with the Global Team.
  • Develop and update Compliance Annual Training programs for staff.
  • Support key projects with compliance advice and technical review of new products and schemes.
  • Uphold Gallagher's Professional Standards and adhere to Global Standards of Business Conduct.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management principles.
  • Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple engagements and priorities.
  • Proactive nature with initiative and a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and team collaboration.
  • Tertiary qualifications and experience in a similar role or financial services industry.
