Senior Medical Officer - General Medicine

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Senior Medical Officer in General Medicine.

  • The role will involve providing high-quality medical care to patients with diverse needs, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in daily consultant-led ward rounds, conducting comprehensive clinical assessments, arranging investigations, and developing discharge plans under the supervision of experienced staff specialists.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide holistic care to patients under Department of Medicine.
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments in emergency departments, wards, and outpatient settings.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
  • Promote continuity of care through accurate documentation and communication with colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Degree in medicine from an accredited institution.
  • Registration as a medical practitioner with the relevant state or territory health authority.
  • Experience in general medicine, preferably in public sector hospitals.
