Key Responsibilities

The Inventory Optimization Expert role at Mecca Brands offers an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on our business. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders on forecasting and replenishment planning for brands within your portfolio. Your main focus will be on owning the demand planning process and its continuous improvement, ensuring future risk and mitigation strategies are identified and implemented.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create a consensus sales forecast.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of demand changes, including new product development, events, campaigns, and product exits.
  • Partner with brand teams on forecasting for new items, ensuring alignment on product ranges and strategies.
  • Place and manage purchase orders in alignment with the brand's order placement cycle.
  • Manage the product ordering process to meet KPIs for stock availability, service levels, and stock holding.
  • E nsure stock availability for events to deliver exceptional customer experiences and sales performance.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in demand and supply planning.
  • Retail or FMCG experience is highly desirable.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
  • High-level interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across various teams.
  • Knowledge of merchandise management and/or supply chain systems.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative approach to systems challenges.
